The Spiral Path Yoga Training, Cape Town, South Africa 2026
12-21 June 2026
A progressive journey into all that is Yoga
- on and off the mat -
The Vision
The Spiral Path Yoga Training is designed as a spiral journey, a living mandala of practice and learning. Each stage revisits previous layers, while opening into new layers of experience, insight, and expression, deepening understanding and expanding awareness in a natural, unfolding rhythm. Rooted in Vinyasa and traditional yoga philosophy, the training unfolds in three stages—25h, 50h, and 100h—each a circle of growth.
Yoga here is seen as a cyclical, evolving practice, where body, mind, heart, and spirit continually spiral inward and outward. Whether you are a curious beginner, a dedicated practitioner, or an (aspiring) teacher, this training meets you where you are, inviting you to explore yoga as practice, philosophy, and a way of living.
This training is Yoga Alliance certified.
The Spiral of Learning
The Spiral Path follows a progressive, expanding spiral. Each stage builds upon the previous one by revisiting core practices and principles from a new level of awareness, while simultaneously introducing fresh material, deeper inquiry, and broader perspective.
What is familiar is refined and embodied more fully; what is new arises naturally from what has already been integrated. In this way, learning does not loop back, but spirals forward, continuously unfolding into greater depth, clarity, and expression.

25h Training — First Circle: Foundations
Duration: 2.5 days (weekend)
The first circle is about beginning the spiral inward. This stage invites you to experience yoga on and off the mat, forming the foundation for future cycles of learning and growth.
This weekend is ideal for those curious about yoga, wishing to deepen personal practice, or exploring further training without committing to a longer program.
50h Training — Expanding Circle: Deepening Practice
Duration: 5 days
Includes: Full 25h training + continuation
The spiral now expands outward. This stage revisits previous learnings, slows down, asks deeper questions, and refines understanding; in movement, philosophy, and self-awareness.
This stage is ideal for practitioners who want a more immersive experience and are ready to commit to a deeper personal journey.
100h Training — Outer Circle: Integration & Expression
Duration: 10 days
Includes: Full 50h training + advanced immersion
At this stage, the spiral unfolds into its most expansive expression within the training. This phase weaves together practice, philosophy, and self-expression, revisiting all previous layers and integrating them into authentic teaching and integration, not as performance, but as lived experience.
During the first half, we deepen everything learned so far. In the final 5 days, we expand into the art of teaching yoga, not as performance, but as authentic expression.
You do not need to want to become a yoga teacher to join. This training supports anyone who wants to integrate yoga more fully into their life. That said, it often appeals strongly to teachers and those feeling the need to expand their teachings or have an interest in a teacher journey and who are potentially considering a 200h Yoga Teacher Training at some point.
This experience often marks a turning point, where practice, philosophy, and life spiral together into integrated awareness, clarity and expression through teaching.

What Makes This Training Unique and Different?
This training is truly one of a kind in South Africa. It draws on many years of yoga experience from around the world, gathered through teaching, practice, and study in diverse traditions and cultures. Every stage of the Spiral Path integrates these global insights, offering a rich, authentic, and deeply immersive learning experience.
A Spiral & Modular Path
Each stage is complete on its own yet part of a greater spiral. Begin at 25h and revisit, deepen, and expand as you feel ready. Each cycle revisits essential elements, then spirals outward into new understanding and growth.
